In the hospital an angiograph was repaired

After a complex repair, an angiographic complex was put into operation in the regional vascular center of the Republican Hospital named after Zhemchuev. On an angiograph, all types of X-ray endovascular interventions on coronary and peripheral vessels can be performed promptly.

Yesterday, Minister of Healthcare of Republic of Kalmykia Yury Kikenov visited the hospital on a working visit. Minister of Healthcare of Republic of Kalmykia Yury Kikenov personally checked the readiness of the device to work.

The head doctor of the hospital, Sanal Mandzhiev, said that for the time of repair all patients with diseases for this profile were sent to the Federal Cardiovascular Center of the city of Astrakhan. The residents of Kalmykia received treatment free of charge. Today, all restoration work is completed: the apparatus is functioning in full, patients are being taken.

The angiograph was purchased under the state program in 2013. Angiograph is used to treat patients with acute coronary syndrome and diseases of peripheral arteries – this is stenting, coronary angiography and implantation of pacemakers.
