Republic of Kalmykia

The international seminar on the theme “The regional legislation and the European standards in the field of human rights” took place in Rostov-on-Don on 14-16 of November. The seminar was organized by South-Russian Parliamentary Assosiation, the Staff of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the South Federal District, Rostov center of civil and legal education in cooperation with the Counsil of Europe.

The representatives of legislative and executive authorities from all regions of the South Federal District participated in the seminar. The delegation of the Republic of Kalmykia was headed by the Vice-Chairman of the Kalmyk Republic Government Nadezhda Kunitsyna. The ombudsman of the Republic of Kalmykia Vladislav Savisko gave a report on the theme “The peculiarities of the application of the European standards in the field of human rights in the Republic of Kalmykia”.
