News from rally “Silk Road”. Participants in the rally “Silk Road 2012” arrived one of the most improbable places on Earth, the little-known Republic of Kalmykia (Elista and Yashkul), reported KalmykiaNews.
This exciting race cars and trucks began a ceremony July 7 at the Red Square of Moscow (Russia).
In the race in the rally “Silk Road 2012” involved: 5-time winner of the Cup of the FIA World Rally off-road, two-time winner of the “Dakar” Jean-Louis Schlesser, two-time winner of the FIA Baja Cup, several times champion of Russia, Boris Gadasin, champion of Russia, and four-time winner of the Cup of Ukraine rally-raid Bogdan Nowicki, winner of the rally “Silk Road-2011” in the cargo classification Czech rider Alesh Loprais (InstaForex Loprais team, Tatra) and another winner of this race, the pilot team “Kamaz-Master” Eduard Nikolayev (Kamaz-Master).
