May 24 at the Institute Oriental Studies and Kalmyk Philology met students and teachers with Kato Hinako – Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Tokyo (Japan), reports KalmykiaNews.
Kato Hinako held a master classes on Japanese calligraphy and ikebana (flower arrangements).
The meeting was organized within the framework of educational work in order to familiarize students with the culture and traditions of the land of the rising sun.
The meeting was made possible through the promotion of leader of community of Kalmyk-Japan Friendship S. Gilyandikova.
