Official statistics for 2017: Registration of marriage and change of name

Last year, 1406 couples registered their marriage. 18 people married minors, 36 couples married at the age of 60 years.

There were also interethnic marriages – 150. A positive trend is observed in the decrease in divorces. For example, in 2016 there were 1,053 of them, and in 2017 – 985.

282 people aged 14 to 25 changed their name. This is due to religious reasons.
