A complex facility for processing and utilization of solid municipal waste will work in the Tselinny district, the press service of the Russian environmental operator said.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Kalmykia Naran Kyukeyev and general director of the Russian environmental operator Denis Butsaev discussed infrastructure development in the region and sources of project financing.

According to Butsaev, the total amount of investment will be 950 million rubles.

“In Kalmykia, it is planned to build a solid municipal waste management facility in the Tselinniy district in 2023 with a composting line. In order to minimize the increase of the tariff, we believe that the best option for the implementation of projects here will be a capital grant of 700 thousand rubles in 2023-2024”, – said the general director of the Russian environmental operator.
