Tibet Days Hosted In Kalmyk Republic
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of founding of the Friends of Tibet Society (FTS) in Kalmyk Republic, a variety of public events, such as seminars, lectures and teaching on the Buddhist philosophy and cultural heritage, exhibition, film screening and talks on Tibet were organized recently in Elista, capital of Kalmyk Republic in Russian Federation, reported Central Tibetan Administration (Dharamsala).

International Forum “Buddhism: Philosophy of non-violence and compassion” will be held in Kalmykia. September 22 to October 2, the main temple of Kalmykia, the only Buddhist republic in Europe, will open its doors to members of the International Forum scale “Buddhism: Philosophy of non-violence and compassion,” which is an initiative of shadzhin Kalmykia Lama Telo Tulku Rinpoche.
